DESIGN

Since my early days with my dear mother in cake art in 2009, my work at Vanilla Sky is based on creativity, quality, originality and uniqueness. Thus, I always seek to innovate a unique design for each of our clients in accordance to their taste, event theme and what their stories inspire me by.

I find inspiration for my cake designs in all of the beauty around me and implicit in my clients' stories and souls. I combine that beauty with the glamour of my childhood memories, the dreamy details mom has been surrounded me by, the refined taste dad has been nurturing me with, the inspiring chats with  my family, and the wonders I find in the travels. All of that beauty nurture me to design a cake with unique combination of elements and colors that tell a story, translates emotions, and conveys a message.

At Vanilla Sky, special attention is paid to details. To me, every single detail in the cake is meaningful. The selection of shades and colors and distribution of elements in the cake play fundamental roles in bringing the beauty (as well as the story) of the cake to life.

I LOVE INNOVATION

Beside the dreamy style, which Vanilla Sky has been know for, I love to explore new cake decorating methods frequently.

Working on out-of-the-box cake designs, in terms of color or style, enchants me. That's why the vanilla blossom in Vanilla Sky's logo grows out of the frame.

It is my pleasure to be a destination for those who love to have cakes involve challenge, change and innovation.

taste

The selection of Vanilla Sky's name refers to my belief that Sky represents unlimited creativity and beauty, while Vanilla embodies delicious taste.

Cake is baked to enjoy its delightful taste. For this, it is my pleasure to make Vanilla Sky's cakes from scratch using the finest ingredients, following my recipes and offering more than 14 flavor combinations, some of which have been developed by our dear clients.

HOW DO I WORK?

1 I receive cake orders via an order form carefully-designed to facilitate the requesting process.

2 After verifying the order via E-mail within 4 days, I set an appointment for a consultation phone call or session (in case of bridal and corporate cakes). The session will be held in person or online (voice or video call) based on the client's preference. During this call/session, I get to know the client and his visions regarding the cake deign, have a look at photos or samples of the event's design concept and details, which is an essential part of collaborative creativity process to come up with a unique design for each client.

Then, I start designing the cake, followed by E-mailing the client with a proposal contains cake sketch(es) and quotation. The client is always welcome to share his thoughts to improve the design.

Once the client approves the design, I start preparing for the cake with  love.

Because ensuring each client enjoys an extraordinary Vanilla Sky's experience is a priority of mine, I only accept a limited cake orders per season.
